Who we are
Planet Paz is an independent publishing studio. This website is planetpaz.com.au. You can contact us at hello@planetpaz.com.au, or by post at PO Box 61, Doreen VIC 3754, Australia.
What we collect
- If you use our contact form: your name, email address, the reason you chose, and your message.
- If you join our mailing list: your email address.
- If you use the site: basic technical information such as your IP address and browser, which our web host and security tools record, and your choice on the cookie banner.
We don’t sell anything directly on this site and we don’t take payments here. When you click a button to buy a book, you go to a retailer’s website, and their own privacy policy applies.
How we use it
- To read and reply to your messages.
- To send you news, new releases and updates, if you joined our mailing list.
- To keep the site secure and block spam.
Who handles your information
- MailerLite runs our mailing list and stores the email addresses of subscribers.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that contact form submissions come from real people and not bots.
- Our web hosting provider stores the website and the messages sent through our contact form.
Some of these providers are based overseas, so your information may be stored or processed outside Australia.
Our mailing list
We only email you if you ask us to. When you sign up, we send an email asking you to confirm. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and you can use it at any time. You can also email us and ask to be removed.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies. A banner on your first visit lets you accept or decline them. The cookie set by our consent tool (cookieadmin_consent) remembers your choice and lasts for up to a year. Services we use on the site, such as the Cloudflare Turnstile spam check on our contact form and the MailerLite signup form, may set their own cookies when they load, and their own policies apply to those. We don’t use cookies for advertising.
Children
Our books include stories for children, but our website forms are meant for adults and parents. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us their details, please contact us and we will delete them.
How long we keep your information
We keep contact form messages for as long as we need to deal with your enquiry. We keep your email address on our mailing list until you unsubscribe.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@planetpaz.com.au and we will respond. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
